Did you know that March 10th is annual Bottled Water-Free Day?

Here are some straight facts regarding Canada's consumption and use of bottled water:

Some questions to think about:

  • Did you know that today most cities and municipalities in Canada have enforced the most regimented regulations regarding the quality and safety of their water supplies then ever before?
  • Have you thought about the industrial purchase and repackaging of a basic and natural resource?
  • Have you considered that you, your parents and grand parents turned out OK after drinking tap water while growing up?
  • How about the fact that over one billion people in the developing world don't have access to safe, clean, potable water?

Take some time to consider all of the above points. How do you feel about bottled water? Should every day be bottle water-free day?
